Authentic Stories from Diners
Trying local food is one of the best parts of traveling – and Zulu definitely delivered! We went there twice and tried different dishes each time. Everything was absolutely delicious: pan-fried crocodile tail, goat curry, slow-cooked chicken, sausage, peanut butter rice, and creamed samp. I’m not a fan of beans, but my son said they were amazing! The food was spot-on, and the service was also really good. Totally recommend it!
Absolutely stunning food!! T-bone steak cooked to perfection. Service outstanding, attentive but also let you relax and enjoy your visit. Live a capella songs from the locals, would definitely recommend
Had the 15 dishes, absolutely fantastic and authentic taste. Except for the worms, who were very spicy, nothing 'strange'. 30$ p person is worth it, way to much. Had some acapella music with it. Lovely waiter Princess, thank you.
Best place I found in town to enjoy local exotic food. Many options in menu. Crocodile tail was great. Service was great, they watch your hands at the table since eating with the hands is the tradition. Prices could be a little high.
I love trying local food when I travel, so I stopped into Zulu on a whim. My waitress, Princess, was very attentive and kind. I was seated immediately and treated to a live marimba band while I waited. The pan-seared crocodile and peanut rice was fantastic. The cuisine felt very local, but not in the "am I going to be sick later?" sort of way, which is perfect. I'd recommend coming here to try something new and local, but if you've got family or friends who aren't super adventurous, they have western options as well.
