Start in Livingstone, Zambia, with a private boat for sunset cruises on the Zambezi River — the golden light here is among the best on the continent. Transfer to Somalisa Tented Camp in Hwange for walking safaris and night drives in a private concession, where the waterhole draws steady traffic from elephant, buffalo, and painted dog. Finish at Bumi Hills on Lake Kariba, where the infinity pool overlooks the lake and game viewing happens by boat through the Matusadona shoreline.

A 10-day itinerary that pairs conventional safari highlights with grassroots community engagement. Start at Thorntree River Lodge in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, where guided bush walks and Big Five game drives share the schedule with visits to community upliftment projects. Move to Somalisa Camp in Hwange for concentrated wildlife viewing — elephant, lion, and wild dog are the main draws. End at Bumi Hills on Lake Kariba with canoe safaris and boat-based game viewing. Part of every booking supports local conservation and education initiatives.

Authentic Stories from Diners
Everything was great! Servers are very friendly, music is fun and laid back, everything is clean, food is very tasty!
Good food and nice variety. The chicken wrap and burger were both tasty. Prices are slightly high, but expected for the area.
The majority of the food we got was pretty good. The chicken halloumi wrap was good, (5/5), French toast was pretty good (4.9/5), but the loaded naan was not good and could not even finish over half. But other than that, our waitress was super nice and it was a pretty restaurant.
Food tastes not bad but measley and stingy. I got the sourdough breakfast, I can't believe it's only 1 singular slice of bread that is as thin as hair. Service is also horrible, no smile and looks upset when there is no tip and keep rushing to clear the plates. The lady with the long red braided hair was so rude with no smile and no thank you no nothing. I felt unwelcomed. The wifi also does not work at all, giving the assess code that does not work. I have to give it 1 star as I was expecting a lot from it's overall 4.6 stars. Completely utter disappointment and turn off. Do better.
What a fabulous place to eat and what a great atmosphere! I can't believe this place isn't way busier than it was when we dined here because it's AWESOME! The menu had lots of great options and the service was 10 out of 10! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the drinks were equally delicious! It's a great place for large or small parties and overall, we had a fantastic evening here!
