Beach House

Beach feeling in the middle of the city. You have to visit for sunset, it’s amazing. Nice seafood. Platters for several people available. Good to visit on weekdays, since it is less busy.

My family rarely go out to eat so when we do we expect a lot. We went to beach house for a birthday lunch for my sister upon recommendation from Harare restaurant review group but we only ordered drinks and paid for those and left to go and eat a meal at what had been our second option when we were picking a place.The main reason was that whatever we wanted to eat on the menu was not available and we ended up considering things we didn't even want to eat. Our waiter gave us a menu with out telling us the menu had changed and we picked things off the old menu then he brought us a new menu and we didn't like anything on there and two of the three starters we chose were out of stock. We felt like we would just be settling for food we weren't keen on so we asked for the bill for the drinks and went to eat at another place. Since it was for a special occasion we weren't happy to settle for poor service or food we would not like.

The Beach House in Harare offers a chill, beach-themed vibe with sand floors, great cocktails, and solid seafood like sushi and surf & turf. It’s family-friendly with a play area, live music on some nights, and decent vegetarian options. Reviews are mostly positive (4.2 stars), though some dishes can be hit-or-miss and parking is unshaded. Located at Borrowdale Racecourse, it's a fun, laid-back spot for groups or a relaxed lunch.

I was here for some drinks and dinner with family and friends. Very nice bar with lots of space. It also has a large outdoor area with plenty of seating available. Service was good, and food came out quickly. We were quite a big group of around 14 people. I would recommend this bar.

Was brought for lunch by a friend who promised fresh and good sushi. They did not lie the sushi was everything! The surf and turf steak and prawns was good too though the steak was a little tough. The service was ok. They also had WiFi for patrons. I will say though that I thought it was a little hard to find and the parking is in the sun with no shade so found the car super hot after our pleasant meal.
