If you're looking for adventure in Zimbabwe, experience the Zambezi River on a white-water rafting tour with pickup in Victoria Falls. With a guide, travel down one of the best one-day rafting rivers in the world, which plummets into a gorge at Victoria Falls, separating the placid river above the falls and the turbulent rapids below. The gorge is more than 328 feet (100 meter) deep at the falls and increases to more than 650 feet (200 meters) by the end of the full-day raft trip. Select a half-day or full-day trip when booking (dependent on availability). Water levels will determine whether you do low- or high-water rafting.

Additional Info
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- No age restriction as long the child can swim, weighs at least 50 lbs (23 kg), fits in a Class 5 youth life jacket, and has a parent's permission; if weight is less than 50 lbs, he or she can only do Level 3 rapids and must skip the Level 5 rapids (this will also depend on the guide's decision on which rapids or sections your child can do)
- Please make sure to wear a T-shirt, shorts, and proper shoes for rafting and hiking up and down the canyon

We had the most incredible day rafting on the Zambezi. It was so much fun and the whole team were just brilliant. It felt very safe and well organised and everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. Cannot recommend it enough. Thanks to everyone at Shockwave's! Can't wait to return and do it again!

AMAZING FLAWLESS -I cannot say enough - from the first communication via what's app with Pilani - able to respond immediately and answer all my questions- WE BOOKED IMMEDIATELY- the pick up was on time- the staff couldn't do enough for us. Although the hike up and down was not easy - the staff was so accommodating- helping us good and down- Pilani - our captain was amazing and his staff who took over a few times was just great- the rapids were beyond what we expected, so many good memories and laughs. Our family absolutely love the complete experience- LUNCH was amazing - the views of the gorge - just no words of the beauty of the land but also the caring and attention this team had to make our experience unique- we chose right - supporting the locals- African own -local own company - HIGHLY RECOMMEND Shockwaves Adventures - Pilani and his team were amazing!

Absolutely recommend to experience exciting, fun yet safe rafting with experienced guides. Depends on the water level and season, you can do either the half stretch or full (but beware you will get very tired). You can even go into the water and free swim in the stable current segment. Lunch with delicious chicken and ice cold beer drinks included. Just note you will have to hike down and up 300m before and after.

This rafting experience was the highlight of our trip. Can’t recommend highly enough. The shockwave team are fantastic - they kept us safe and entertained throughout. They are so much fun to spend time with and know the river intimately - the rafting is exhilarating and the scenery stunning. We did a day of rafting - if we could, we would have done more. Go! Do it!
