The Victoria Falls Game Drive and Raft Floating is a tranquil activity that allows you to relax and have the opportunity to view game in the Victoria Falls National Park and Zambezi River. The park extends along the Zambezi river about 6km above the Falls to about 12km below the falls.Visitors have the chance to view the elephant, buffaloes, hippopotamus, eland and a variety of other antelope herds during the drive.
As the day gets hotter,it will be time to abandon the jeep and get into our human powered rafts. The rafts used in class 5 whitewater rafting will always give us a safer option to scare away the hippos bellowing to mark their territories. As we float on the small rapids of the upper section of the river you may bring your own wine for sipping as you view the incredible flora and fauna surrounding this river while you also see the basking crocs cherishing the glim of African sunlight. End your trip with lunch served along the river bank.

Raft Float on the Upper Zambezi

The Raft Float was fine. The guides were not particularly friendly. We did not ask for a photographer but one came along anyway. We were a family group of 23 and were in 3 rafts. The photographer only took photos of the 2 rafts that he was not in. He did not take even 1 photo of anyone on his raft. We definitely did not receive $40 worth of photos that we paid. The photographer didn't even try to take a photo of this group upon exiting their raft or a entire group photo. The lunch was good. The booking was done professionally.
