Unforgettable rafting experience

White water rafting on the river Zambezi was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I could not have picked a better company than Try Rafting Co. This Zimbabwean family business has incredible knowledge and experience of the river Zambezi. Very professional operation, guides were very knowledgeable about the area and each section of rapids. Safety Kayakers were very skilled and helped us feel safe as we faced off with class IV and V rapids. We were also fortunate enough to see some of the wild life this river has to offer.
We stopped for lunch in the village and experiences some traditional Zimbabwean food which was really tasty and it was nice to just relax and hang out for a bit.
My sandal broke when I got to the river but the guys were able to tape it back up and helped me with the hike out of the canyon. This was a really genuine experience and
loved every second of it. Suer friendly group. The pictures were amazing too and absolutely worth purchasing. Incredible experience I will be back!
Be warned you do have to hike in and out of the canyon but that is true for everyone rafting on this stretch of the river

Once in a lifetime trip for sure! Guides were amazing, knowledgeable, fun, and safe! I highly recommend staying at the farm for an authentic and local experience. Great place if you are looking for something unique and adventurous! Loved the hosts. I had an amazing time with my family!

You can sense the passion that comes from the team, who are all united in providing the best experience for you and in the most Zimbabwean way possible. The rafting is professionally led by experienced and knowledgeable guides within the team. Safety is top notch, and the fun is absolutely guaranteed. What I love most is that you have to earn the fun by breaking a sweat yourself within the process, and that makes it so much more real and unforgettable.
Lunch is in the village, food traditionally cooked by the village ladies, and you feel the essence of village life, tranquility and peace. There is also opportunities to hike, sleep in their village accommodation and generally just 'hang out' with generous locals. Of all the 'tourism operators', this is THE most genuine experience you could have.

The experience as a whole was absolutely amazing! The guides were very knowledgeable about the river and each section of rapids we encountered. The safety kayakers were very skilled and helped us feel safe the whole time. I would highly recommend rafting with this company.
