We didn't know what to expect when we signed up for the home hosted dinner. We just wanted to have the village/family experience and stumbled upon this gem. It was educational, fun, and a great way to learn about local family and traditions! The food was so good. Loved everything about the experience.
Amazing experience with a wonderful family.

Nkue the tour guide, picked me up from my lodge and drove me around some of the townships where he grew up in Vic Falls. Telling me about his time growing up in the area and showing me the local markets where ingredients of the meal where bought.
Nkue and his family were very welcoming and happy to answer any questions about their life. The meal was delicious and lovingly prepared by his wife. I am a vegetarian and they were able to accommodate this without me feeling I missed out on what the family may typically eat.
I had a wonderful time and I can not recommend this activity enough, especially if you like me want to experience something that is not your typical tourist activity and eat some home made food.
Great to meet an authentic Zimbabwean Family

Got to have a brief tour around the area and a very tasty dinner and conversation with a local family. Would recommend for solo travelers.
