What an great experience, and our host was really good. Again our thanks that he and his family welcomed us into their village. Told us so much about the culture, tradition and way of life. So interesting and much fun was had stamping mielies into flour.
If you want to more then I definitely recommend this tour.
Also many thanks to Lewis, did an excellent job choosing the richt village and showing us around.

Our tour guide stopped in a homestead in a nearby village. We were immediately welcomed and offered a seat. The head of the family led the informal tour and he was packed with knowledge to share. We learned about everyday life including water retrieval, cooking, washing, showering, schooling, cultural ceremonies, etc. We were invited in to each part and encouraged to take photos and ask questions. We were also invited to learn how to weave a basket and make corn meal. We learned so so much about the advantages and disadvantages of this way of life. One of the best things we have done in our 3 week trip to Africa.

It was very cool to see how some of the African villagers live. We got some great photos and met a very nice woman. I would recommend this.
