Game-viewing in Hwange, Zimbabwe’s traditional big game park, is exceptionally good and offers much more than just the “big 5”. The park is particularly famous for its large herds of elephant and buffalo, but there is much else to see—cheetah, leopard, giraffe, wildebeest, eland, bat eared fox, roan and sable antelope and zebra are all regularly sighted.
Predator sightings, especially lion and wild dog, are fantastic, while nocturnal game drives are likely to reveal porcupine, mongoose, hyena and pangolin. Birding is impressive with over 400 species recorded.

Reviews for Hwange Park Big 5 Game Drive!
Not so Big 5.

We saw more animals at hour hotels watering hole than on the drive. Its called big 5 but you don't see any. You'll see an abundance of Impala, which are everywhere. You'll drive in the bush for miles and not see anything apart from trees. The guide is knowledgeable but the tour is very long for animals seen. Did see other animals outside of the big five, but saw these for free at our hotel. We saw, Hippo, Crocs, Giraffe, Impala, Zebra, Tortoise and Waterbuck. Not any of the big 5.
