Super day w/ the Africa Zim team and specifically Blessing. Started w/ pickup in Vic Falls w/ two safari drive in Hwange and drop-off in Bulawayo. It was a cold morning however blankets + hot tea fixed it. Highlights included multiple one-on-one close ins with elephants and much, much birdlife. Consider Africa Zim on +263 71 276 1624

Hwange National Park is in west Zimbabwe, is the largest national park in Zimbabwe. Its grasslands and mopane woods are home to large elephant herds, lions and African wild dogs. In the northwest, animals gather at Mandavu and Masuma dams, where there are concealed lookouts.an, with its elevated viewing platform. It is better to do an overnight trip for 2-3 nights here.
Did not seem worth it

The excursion went from relaxed to rushed. The trip to the reserve was a bit disorganized, as the driver and game guide were not in sync on the meeting location. Which seemed to delay our start time for the reserve. Once in the reserve we basically did 2 out and backs on trails primarily through bush, which made it difficult to see much more than birds for most of the trip. We were able to see some game near the watering holes. For the largest park in Zimbabwe and having supposedly 2 game drives, we seemed to see very little of the park. The excursion was also cut short by our game guide, and when confronted with that fact he just brushed it off and proceeded to drop us off for the drive back to Victoria Falls

Saw tons of elephants! Also saw most other wildlife mammals of African woodlands except no cats. It was very hot. Loved Victor the driver and the shuttle driver as well.

Loved the tour. Our Driver Blessing was prompt experienced and safe. Our tour guide was excellent. Was disappointed we could not see enough of the king of the jungle- the lions. Not anyone's fault though
