Description
This trip starts in Victoria Falls Hotels whereby guests will be picked up as early as 05:30am to catch up with the early game drive in Hwange. Lunch will be served inside the park at 1300hrs. There is a many made village inside the park where guests relax themselves before they embark for afternoon game drive. Animals to see ranges from, elephants, lions, zebras, kudus, wilderbeasts, giraffe etc. The game drive ends at 1730pm and guests will have a road trip back to Victoria Falls. This tour confirms with a minimum number of 2 travelers.

Hwange is worth the drive!

A visit to Hwange is well worth the 2 1/2 hour trip to get there. In hind site I wish that we would have planned an overnight stay at the park because there is so much to see there and one day is not enough time. Our driver was punctual, kind and professional. And our safari park guide was very knowledgeable about the animals, birds, and plants that we encountered. He shared his bird book with us along the drive. We saw many herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, 6 different kinds of antelope, hippos, crocodiles, lizards and a pride of 10 lions. Seeing the lions 10 feet from our jeep was the highlight of our 3 week stay in Africa. I would highly recommend this company. Oh and the lunch that was prepared for us was wonderful.

This park is incredibly large and the guide did his best to find the animals! The check ins and water supply & lunch was most welcomed.

Full Day Hwange Trip

My wife and I planned a trip from Vic Falls to Hwange National Park. We booked the day trip and several other excursions through Zambezi Expedition Travel and Tours. Our pickup/drop-off driver, Francis, was punctual (5.30 am because we had to drive 2 hours from Vic Falls to Hwange) and fun to talk to. Our safari guides, Devine and Ashley, were knowledgeable and were more than happy to stop or backup if we needed to snap photos. We saw many animals including sables, kudus, impala, giraffes and a LOT of elephants. It's a shame we weren't able to see any big cats but other tour groups assured us they were around. All in all, a great day trip if you want to see beautiful animals and don't mind getting up very early to do it.

Excellent value
Much cheaper than the hotel for impeccable service.
We had the 4x4 all to ourselves as not many people go there from Victoria Falls and it was low season.

A big thank you to Chance who manages the registrations. She asked us if we had any food intolerances to plan lunch during the Safari. Hearty and good meal in a pleasant and secure area.
