All Canoe Trails are on the Zambezi River, which passes along the banks of the Zambezi National Park, with camping in the National Park, which is remote and wild. For this reason clients have a good opportunity of viewing various species of animals, such as Elephants, Buffalo, Impala, Kudu, Hippo, Crocodile etc. The birdlife is prolific with at least 50 common species of bird that can be seen from your craft.
You are picked up from accommodation in vic Falls. Then go on a game drive (approx 45 minutes) to the canoe start point. On arrival a professional Canoe guide gives you a safety talk, then you practise your paddling before setting off on the Safari. Lunch is included. The trip ends at the Overnight campsite, on the banks of the River. The evening is spent enjoying the ambiance of the wilderness followed by dinner and relaxing by the campfire. Tented accommodation, stretchers, mattresses, bedding (sheets, pillows, comforter & towels) are provided. There are bush showers and sit down toilets accessible. In the morning, you enjoy an English fried breakfast, tea, coffee, fruit juice as well as cereals (According to dietary requirements). After Breakfast you are transferred to your respective lodging, by latest 10h00. Earlier transfers can be arranged.
