Arrival in Harare

Arrive in Harare at Harare international Airport Transfer by Batoka Safaris to Rainbow Towers Hotel and check in. Tour the City of Harare – the city center, downtown, suburbs, markets and historical places. Tour takes 2 hours. Overnight at hotel on dinner and breakfast.

Harare to Kariba

Road Transfer to Kariba in the north from Harare, journey takes maximum 5 hours, approximately 366 km. Check in at Caribbea Bay Resort. 1600hrs pick up from hotel for sunset cruise on Lake Kariba (the biggest man made lake in the world at the time of it’s construction in the late 1950s) The cruise takes 2 hours. Snacks and cash bar are onboard.

Full Day Matusadona

Full Day Matusadona tour. Transfer by boat across the Lake for approximately 30km on water to Matusadona. Tour includes game drive and game walk + lunch. Transfer back by the lake and drop off at hotel.

Kariba to Mana Pools

0730hrs Kariba Highlights Tour. Pick up from hotel. Visit the Lake’s dam Wall, tour Kariba observation point. After tour, depart for Vundu Camp. Road Transfer to Chirundu in the North, journey takes maximum 2 hours, approximately 100 km. Departure from Chirundu to Vundu by boat for approximately an hour.

Full Day Vundu Camp. Game Activities: Game drive, Bird watching, Fishing, Boat Safari

Mana Pools to Harare

Depart Vundu Camp to Chirundu by boat for approximately an hour. Transfer from Chirundu to Harare, 355km South East and the journey takes about 5 hours.

Harare to Nyanga

Pickup from the Hotel for Nyanga by road. Nyanga is 272km east of Harare and it takes approximately 4 hours

Nyanga to Masvingo

0730hrs Depart Nyanga for Great Zimbabwe. This is a 5hr 30 min journey, approx. 387km. Check in at LATAC close to the ruins. Tour the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, that is an approximately 3hrs tour. Tour the Hill Complex, the museum, and the Great Enclosure.

Masvingo to Matobo

After breakfast, depart by road to Matobo Hills via Bulawayo, the second largest city in Zimbabwe, after Harare. The journey takes 4hrs 30min or less. Approx. 320km. Arriving on time will allow time to tour the city. Proceed to Matobo Hills and check in at the Matobo Hills Lodge

Full Day Matobo Hills

Activities: 2 activities for the day. Game drive in the Matobo Game Park, and rhino trail, optional will be a visit to the Recreational Park (Cecil John Rhodes Grave entry is $ 10).

Matobo to Hwange

After breakfast, depart by road to Hwange National Park via Bulawayo city. This is a 4hrs 30min, 321km. Check in at Hwange Safari Lodge

Hwange

06:00hrs Morning Game Drive at Hwange National park 3hrs. this includes morning teas and biscuits. Lunch at the Lodge Afternoon Game Drive

Hwange to Victoria Falls

Road transfer to Victoria Falls for approximately 2 hours, 185km. Arrive in Victoria Falls and check in at the Azambezi River Lodge. 1600hrs Sunset Cruise – . Pick up from hotel. Cruise takes 2 hours. Drinks and snacks are served onboard. Drop off at hotel after cruise.

Victoria Falls

After breakfast: 0830hrs Guided tour of the Victoria Falls. Pick up from the hotel. Tour includes the visit to the Big Tree in the Park, the rainforest and the whole stretch of the falls which is close to 2 km. Drop at the hotel after the tour. There are several optional tours one can do in the afternoon. Transfer and drop at the hotel after the dinner.

Victoria Falls/Botswana

After early breakfast. 0730hrs Chobe Day trip. Pick up from hotel and travel by road for 70+ km into Botswana Chobe area for a full day Safari. Please ensure you have your passport and visa ready. Activities: Game Drive & Boat cruise on the Chobe River. You will then be transferred back to Victoria falls and drop off at the hotel.
